RunningRunning is not my favorite activity, don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't enjoy it. I do. When I'm running I love it but the thought of getting the running shoes on and going for a run is sometimes far too much and I end up with a mug of tea in front of the fire. I've done one or two running races and here they are in all the gory details. The Brighton 10k, November 2007 The Beachy Head Marathon, October
2007 The Firle 20k, September 2007 The Dry Hill 10, September 2007 The JP Morgan Chase, July 2007 The Lingfield Marathon, May 2007 The London Marathon, April 2007 The Mince Pie 10, December 2006; The Grim Challenge, December 2006; Tatsfield 5 mile road race, October
2006; The Dry Hill 10, September 2006 Prague International Marathon, May
2006; Lingfield Marathon, April 2006; Running up hills again, Mar 2006; Half way there, Feb 2006; A cold run on a hilly day, Jan 2006; The Grim Challenge, December 2005: Tatsfield 5 Mile Road Race, October
2005: A time to go unothodox: The end of running as I know it ?: Lingfield Marathon, April 2005: Paris Marathon, April 2003: Crowbrough 10k, December 2002: Nike 10k, July 2002: LinksAll about triathlons: the promotors of the G3 races, Hal Higson's web page: This web site gave me all I needed to know to run a marathon. I followed the novice training schedual and loved every moment of it. I particularly liked the weekly advice on the schedual. Runners World - The web site of the mag with on-line entry to races The Grim challenge - More mud than you can poke a stick at. The Prague Marathon - I cannot recomend this event enough. |
